High Density Modular Data Center Cooling
Liebert XD delivers energy efficient air conditioners and flexible high density cooling solutions, designed to optimize data center infrastructure. These data center modular cooling solutions are available with open or closed architecture, and pumped refrigerant-based or water-based technology.
Water-based Cooling Modules and Racks
Works as a system with Liebert DCP Coolant Pumping Unit to supply cooling water to high heat density racks. The modules offer an alternative heat removal solution to critical applications where the hot aisle/cold aisle approach to cooling is not practical.
Liebert DCW water-based cooling modules allow you to take advantage of an existing building chilled water system, using the Liebert DCP coolant pumping unit to distribute the cooling water to the racks or to cooling modules mounted on the racks.
Liebert XDK-W is available in models that provide 17kW of cooling and 40U of rack space; and 25kW of cooling with 37U of rack space. 60 Hz or 50 Hz.
Liebert DCD rack cooler replaces the rear door of an enclosure, providing cooling without increasing the rack footprint. The module uses the server fans within the protected rack to provide airflow, providing the most energy efficient design.
Water-Based Pumping Unit, 200kW
Liebert DCP pumping unit is part of the highly energy-efficient, high heat density Liebert DCW data center heat removal system, designed to support Liebert DCD module, and Liebert XDK-W rack enclosure. Liebert DCP is an isolating interface between the pumped water and the building chilled water system.
The water-based Liebert DCP pumping unit houses the isolating heat exchanger between the Liebert DCD or Liebert XDK-W and the building chilled water. It circulates the chilled water to the cooling modules at a temperature always above the actual dew point, to prevent condensation.

Integrated Cooling Enclosure, 1.6kW and 3.2kW
Liebert Foundation MCR is an integrated modular data center infrastructure solution that ensures protection for servers, network components and other critical electronics.
The Liebert Foundation MCR is a data center rack system that features a load-sized, computer-grade air conditioner located at the bottom of the enclosure, offering top-mount design, supplying cool air to sensitive equipment on all levels. A back-up cooling system ensures environmental security. Data center power is supplied and protected through a Liebert GXT on-line UPS, or Liebert PSI line-interactive UPS.

Refrigerant-based Cooling Modules
Pumped Refrigerant-Based Cooling for High Heat Density Applications
Liebert XD refrigerant-based cooling modules work as a system to support the hot aisle/cold aisle approach to high heat density data center cooling. The modules provide focused rack cooling, complementing room-based precision cooling, such as the Liebert DS floor mount system. Pumped refrigerant is ideal for use near electronic equipment, as it operates at low pressure in the piping circuit, and becomes a gas at room conditions.

Air Flow Enhancer, 1000CFM
Liebert XDA increases air flow through densely populated rack enclosures, past congested cabling, removing hot spots within data center racks that can threaten the uptime of critical systems.
Each Liebert XDA data center cooling unit is rated for 1000 CFM (@60Hz). The unit mounts on the rear (inside or outside) of any standard rack (minimum 60" height). Two Liebert XDA units mounted side by side on the rear of a rack enclosure (2000 CFM capacity) move a nominal 14 kW heat load.
