Outdoor Heat Rejection for Glycol Cooling Applications

Liebert Outdoor Drycoolers provide closed-system cooling for pumped glycol heat-transfer fluid, supporting effective data center cooling design.

Liebert Outdoor Drycoolers are available in capacities from 15.75 to 525kW (4.5 to 150 tons), and in 60Hz or 50Hz models. The units are quickly and easily installed because all internal wiring is completed at the factory, with only two electrical connections to be made at the job site.

  • Low profile 1- to 8-fan units are constructed with a corrosion-resistant aluminum cabinet and a copper-tube aluminum-fin coil. These units have CSA approval.
  • High capacity 10-fan units are constructed with corrosion-resistant galvanized steel frames and multiple copper-tube aluminum-fin coils. These units have UL approval.

Outdoor Condensing Unit, 3.5-28kW

Liebert PFH, Outdoor Condensing Unit, 3.5-28kWThe Liebert PFH propeller fan condensing units are designed to be used in conjunction with the Liebert Mini-Mate2, Liebert DataMate and Liebert Challenger 3000 evaporator units, supporting efficient data center heat management.

The Liebert PFH Condensers are available in nominal capacities of 3.5 to 28kW (1 to 8 tons). Split-system condensing units are connected to the evaporator unit by two refrigerant lines (four for 28 kW (8 ton) model) and a low voltage control cable. The condensing unit, available in 50 or 60Hz, requires a separate power source and an outdoor disconnect switch.

Indoor Condensing Unit, 7-28kW

Liebert MCD, Indoor Condensing Unit, 7-28kWLiebert MCD condensing units are designed to be used in conjunction with the Liebert Mini-Mate2, Liebert DataMate and Liebert Challenger 3000 evaporator units, supporting effective data center cooling.

Liebert MCD Condensers are available in nominal capacities of 7kW to 28kW (2 to 8 tons). Air-cooled or water/glycol-cooled split system condensing units are mounted in the ceiling and connected to the evaporator unit by two refrigerant lines (four for 28kW (8-ton) model) and a low voltage control cable. The condensing unit, available in 50Hz or 60Hz, can be wired to a separate power source, or use the evaporator power source when close-coupled together.

Liebert DMC water/glycol condensing units are designed to be mounted to the Liebert DataMate evaporator units, making a self-contained cooling unit for effective computer room cooling.

Liebert DMC Condensers are available in nominal capacities of 5 to 18kW (1.5 to 3 tons). Water- or glycol-cooled condensing units are mounted to the DataMate evaporator unit, yielding an esthetically pleasing self-contained cooling system. The condensing unit, available in 50Hz or 60Hz, is field-installed to the standard DataMate evaporator unit.
